About Photographer Peter Black

I am a New Zealand born photographer based in the Seattle area, Washington State.

When not working at my day job, I am constantly improving and adding to my Stock and Fine Art Portfolio.

I have always been interested in Photography, my first “serious” camera was a very early Canon EOS Camera, an EOS 650 film camera which I have owned since 1988.  Although always interested in photography, life got in the way of my pursuing it as a true passion.  My passion was re-ignited during a trip to Alaska.  This trip and the lure of “digital” photography started me down the path that I am currently on.

I currently am using a Canon 5D mark ii.  I use Canon L-Series Lenses to craft my images. Although I attempt always to produce the best image I can in camera, I am not opposed to post-processing of the image or use of software techniques or effects.
